Inspired by Indonesian art, tradition, and culture, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta has become the epitome of luxury and hospitality — a five-star boutique hotel where spaciousness, serenity, and sanctuary are the hallmarks and the embodiment of classic Javanese style.

Conceived in the early 1990s as a property that would complement the upscale leafy area of Kebayoran Baru — in architecture, in scale, in utility — the hotel opened its 95 suites and rooms in 1997, and has since become a quiet institution in South Jakarta. Each of those 95 rooms was sized to feel like a residence, not a hotel room.
